CYANON® Primer PT-MC is used to make polyolefin and other low
energy surfaces suitable for bonding with Loctite cyanoacrylate
adhesives. It is only recommended for difficult to bond substrates which include polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and thermoplastic rubber materials.

Specifications
1. Applications
- CYANON PRIMER PT-MC strengthens the adhesion of CAYNON cyanoacrylate adhesives to non-polar plastics such as Polypropylene, Polyethylene and so on.
- Also can be used for a wide variety of plastics and rubber materials.
2. How to use
- Clean surfaces to be bonded with a dry cloth or paper.
- Apply CYANON PRIMER PT-MC one or two times on surfaces with brush slightlywider than area to be bonded as thinly as possible. (May adversely affect someplastics and other materials. Test first.)
- Apply CYANON cyanoacrylate adhesive to one surface and put parts to be bonded together immediately. And then, press bonded parts with a finger or clamp for more than one minute.
- Wait more than 1 hour for full cure.
3. Directions for use
- Be sure before use that materials to be bonded are not adversely affected by primer.
- Excessive application may cause adhesion failure.
- Avoid using under high temperature and high humidity conditions.
- Contact with skin may generate rash. Do not inhale.
- CYANON PRIMER PT-MC was designed for the exclusive use with CYANON cyanoacrylate adhesives.
4. Directions after use
Cap tightly after use because the active ingredients in the primer are easy to be carbonized in the air. The carbonization leads to the effect decrease as the primer
