Mold release for green tire Kernik MRI-160 is a semi-permanent water-based release system designed for moulding operations when nontransfer of release agent, high temperature stability, high degree of slip, and abrasion resistance of the release film are important. It is ready to use. The release system becomes functional after cure. The release film is micro thin and stable until 260 °C. It adheres to mould surfaces and provides multiple releases with no transfer to moulded parts and reduces build-up on moulds when applied according to instructions.

Application:
- Thoroughly clean the mould. Apply at least two uniform, thin coats. Allow a short drying time between each coat.
- Recommend temperature to apply more than 100 C or at the production temperature for 10 minute prior production.
Reapply a light coat of MRI-160 at process temperature when required, to maintain desired release
